Examining exhaustion as a systems problem, not a personal failure

I am currently writing a book that examines a form of exhaustion many people recognize but few systems are willing to name properly. It challenges the idea that chronic depletion is a personal failure and instead examines how prolonged responsibility, exposure, and time shape health and performance—often invisibly and gradually. Grounded in occupational and environmental medicine, this work asks uncomfortable questions about how modern systems are designed, who they protect, and who quietly absorbs the cost. Further details will be shared as the project progresses.
